The requirement was to build a platform capable of handling course delivery, payments, and user management while keeping the experience simple for both learners and administrators.
Our Approach
We designed a structured system focusing on performance and usability. Special attention was given to video streaming, authentication, and smooth user flow from browsing courses to completing purchases.
Key Features
Video Streaming from Amazon S3
Course videos are stored on Amazon S3 and played through next-video in the My Courses lesson player.
Razorpay Checkout
The backend creates each Razorpay order and verifies the payment signature on the server before course access is granted.
OTP Sign-Up & Password Reset
Sign-up is confirmed with an email OTP (with a resend timer), and users can reset a forgotten password or change their current one.
Device-Limited Logins
Each browser is identified with FingerprintJS. At the device limit, users see their active devices and can sign one out to continue.
Referral & Affiliate Dashboard
Every user gets a referral code and a dashboard listing their referrals and reward payouts, with bank details stored for payouts.
Responsive UI
Built with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui so the course catalogue, checkout and lesson player work on phones and desktops.
